But make no mistake. These holiday drinks are anything but boring. They're so fun, sometimes fizzy and seriously 5-star delicious.

Glass off butterbeer

BUTTERBEER

Harry Potter fans rejoice! Now you can enjoy butterbeer worthy of any wizard.

INGREDIENTS

  • Butterbeer layer:
  • 2-liter cream soda, chilled
  • 1 tbsp imitation butter flavor
  • Cream layer:
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 6 tbsps sugar
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 tsps imitation butter flavor

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. To make the butterbeer layer: combine the cream soda and imitation butter in a pitcher and stir. Set aside.
  2. To make the cream layer: in a large bowl, whip heavy cream on medium high for 3-4 minutes until it starts to thicken. Add sugar and continue whipping until very soft peaks begin to form (about another 3-4 minutes). Stir in vanilla and imitation butter and whip for another 30 seconds until soft peaks form.
  3. Pour butterbeer into glasses and generously top with cream layer

Cup of Eggnog hot chcolate

EGGNOG HOT CHOCOLATE

Warm eggnog, frothy milk, chocolate, a dusting of nutmeg and a hint of mint – does it get any better? Just the thing when waiting for the big guy to come!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2-1/2 cups milk
  • 12 oz bittersweet chocolate
  • 4 cups eggnog
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream
  • Peppermint sticks
  • Pinch of nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring milk and chocolate to a simmer. Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes. Whisk chocolate until smooth.
  2. Stir in eggnog. Gently heat over low heat until very warm (but not boiling).
  3. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. 4. Pour into mugs. Top with whipped cream, a small pinch of nutmeg and a peppermint stick.

  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine ingredients in a pitcher or punch bowl
  2. Serve cold
