3 Summer Drinks That'll Get Any Party Started

Hosting a summer party? Well, you can’t do that without some refreshments.

These punches and lemonades just say summer. We rounded up our favorite recipes sure to please the whole crowd. Not only are they completely delicious, they’re super easy, too!

Watermelon Lemonade

This is what happens when watermelon and lemonade get together. And the result is totally delicious.


  • 6 cups cubed seedless watermelon
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 3/4 cup fresh strained lemon juice, chilled
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar (more or less to taste)
  • Mint to garnish
  • Ice for serving


  1. Add watermelon to a blender and pulse until well pureed; pour through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a large pitcher, whisk together water, lemon juice and sugar until sugar has dissolved
  3. Stir in pureed watermelon
  4. Add ice
  5. Store in refrigerator until serving; garnish with mint

PRO TIP: Freeze some extra cubes of watermelon to use instead of ice cubes. That way drinks won’t get watered down as they defrost.

Sangria and summer just go hand in hand. And this nonalcoholic is version is filled with so many great fruits that even the kids can enjoy.


  • Fresh lemon slices
  • Fresh lime slices
  • Fresh orange slices
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blackberries
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 2 cups grape juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 4 cups sparkling water


  1. In a large pitcher, add the lemon slices, lime slices, orange slices, strawberries, blackberries and cranberries
  2. Add cranberry juice, grape juice, orange juice and lemon juice and stir well
  3. Refrigerate until ready to enjoy
  4. Just before serving, add the sparkling water and mix well

Honey Limeade

When you need a break from lemonade, this is the perfect recipe for you.


  • 1 liter sparkling water
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • Fresh lime slices
  • Ice for serving


  1. In a pitcher, whisk together the sugar and 1/2 cup of the sparkling water until sugar has dissolved
  2. Pour in honey and mix well
  3. Stir in lime juice
  4. Pour in the remaining sparkling water and stir until just combined
  5. Add lime slices
  6. Add ice and let chill before serving
